This is the story of a very beautiful, proud and bestowed girl, namely Falak, who has EVERYTHING anyone would want in life... There's just one more thing she wants... -SALMAN ANSAR. She loves him dearly, and somehow, manages to lure him with her beauty and makes him fall in Love with her. They get married, living happily for almost 3 years, but that is when their lives start changing. Particularly, Falak's! Falak had changed herself COMPLETELY to what salman wanted of her in the past 3 years, and now she had noticed him drifting away from her, he got irritated and couldnt stand her anymore. Seeing how the LOVE of her life had rejected her, she becomes insane, almost, and vows to get him back from who took him away from her, only to see that the girl salman falls in love with is NOTHING compared to her... ugly too. She then realizes how its ALLAH (swt)'s wish as to whom he makes someone love and slowly she starts interpreting the religious, spiritual meanings of everything in life. She then becomes closer to Allah, leaves all the wordly things... how all this is to unfold.. is something we'll be looking forward to, in Shehr-e-Zaat =)

    Awesome drama MashAllah ..can bring change into the typical Pakistani girl's thinking.The master which has defined a woman’s worth, has taken many forms throughout time. One of the most prevalent standards made for woman, has been the standard of men. But what we so often forget is that God has honored the woman by giving her value in relation to Himself—not in relation to men...Bow down to rise...Allah u akbar!

    I have read the novel. It was owsome. It was not long novel and mahira khan is a perfect girl for This character.

    i have seen many girls like that... they love those guys, who disrespect them, who don`t care about them and they still willing to die for these kind of guys... i don`t know wats worng with these kind of girl and i can`t understand how and wat make you girl to fall in LOVE with these kind of guys....

    Asalmalikum,this drama is a lesson for all of us especially parents who have forgotten Islamic values and have become totally westernise but in the end we all seek for Allah help.the best part is when mahira shouts at her mother and says "why don't you teach me to love Allah ,why..its your fault,"so we should start finding Allah before its too late.

    AOA, so nice drama Umera Ahmed has done excellent jobs in the pakistani viewers Mashalha very nice story. Sarmad Bhai you are the best director, Mahira khan your acting is too Excellent me and my family and all friends relay like your acting.

    if Sarmad would have chosen Fawaz Khan instead of Mikkal,it would be the same as "Hamsafar"
    next time please Sarmad replace the heroin as well.

    Horrible ending!!! Sulman was not sorry for what he did to falak; he only wanted her Bach in his life because he was left lonely. Once again showing his selfish personality. He never respected or valued falak's presence. He took advantage of falak and betrayed her trust. How can Falak go back to such a person? How can she ever trust him again? What will happen if Tabinda ever show up again? Will Sulman forgive Tabinda and leave falak again? After all, Sulman only true love was Tabinda (just like falak who loved Sulman).
    It's true that Islam teaches us to forgive each other, but that does not mean we put ourselves in same situation again.
