Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu, a social romantic Urdu novel, written by popular novelist Farhat Ishtiaq is now being turned into a television drama series by Pakistan’s ace film-maker and television director Mehreen Jabbar. The drama serial revolves around a love story of a young couple, a Pakistani boy and a US-born girl studying Engineering and Architecture in Columbia University in the US.


Cast: Sarwat Gillani, Adeel Husain, Sanam Saeed, Junaid Khan, Sajida Syed, Javed Sheikh, Hina Bayat and others.

    Very nice start in this seriel...Drama holds many great surprises on the path of true Love...cant wait to see more....Ebaad is veryyyyyy nice character being protrayed...cheers!

    The story seems to be quite well knit,but the hero and the heroine are not very dashing. They are just so so. May be, that is prerequiste of the basic plot. However, they very well maintain the acting standard. The character Mama Jani is very cute and lovable and has been handled wonderfull by the senior acteress. Lets watch how the events unfold.

    drama is not bad, but chemistry is missing between the hero and heroine. Sarwat needs to improve on her acting, lacking emotions.

    Amazing chemistry between the two lead roles but an outstanding job and credit is to the entire team. I liked it before but the last t episodes hae taken t a different level I was sobbing the entire episode. Excellent job !!!!!! Story direction acting everything

    jb islam mein musalman aurat ko qabristan mein jany ki ijazat nhi hai tuo phir bhi is dramay mein ladies ko qabristan mein dekhaya hai kyun kia yeh baat galat nhi hai

    bilkul theek kaha aap nay kiyun kay jo cheezain jis tarha dikhaye jati hain unko is tarha say promote kia jata hay. jo baat islam main mana hay agar hum tv shows ya dramas main ye he batayen k ye mana hay to new generation wo he seekhay gi, lakin jub hum islam say hut kay koi baat dikhayen gay to usko log usi tarha kerna shuroo kerdain gay. bilkul isi tarha jesay larhkiyan ajkal tv per jis qism ka libas pehan ker ati hain islam main wo mukammal tor pay mana hay lakin us kay baray main kuch nahi kaha jata balkay jis tarha dikhaya jata hay usko dekh ker aisa lagta hay k hamara mulk islamic nahi hay balkay hum kisi western country main rehtay hain aur hum muslim nahi hain balkay kisi goray ki nasal say hain

    women can go to graveyards yahan likha hai
    In Sunan al-Nasâ’î, it reads: “Indeed, I had prohibited you from three things: from visiting the graves, but now I encourage you to visit them, and may your visiting them increase you in goodness…” [Sunan al-Nasâ’î (4429 and 5653)]

    This encouragement includes women, because when the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been prohibiting his followers from visiting the graves, the prohibition had been meant equally for men and for women. Therefore, when he lifted the prohibition, he did so for both men and women. The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw a woman crying at a grave so he told her: ‘Fear Allah and be patient.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (1252)] He did not forbid her from staying at the grave.
